Jiraya-sensei the Father and Naruto-kun the Son, the smiles on their faces are as priceless as the feelings we share with loved ones.
The bond between these two runs deeper than the art of Mount Myoboku's Sage Mode that they both mastered and is more proof that family is not only people related to you by blood. Jiraya, a teacher and master to Minato Namikaze, Naruto's biological father traveled the world as a writer of the illustrious series Make Out Paradise only to return to Konoha to pickup his god-son who he personally trains to master and surpass his way of the ninja, in addition to the power left to Naruto by his biological parents.
Jiraya-sensei had no children of his own but loved Naruto-kun more than a son, then I ask, what is this season all about? Yesterday was Christmas and whether you're celebrating as a Christian or simply eagerly awaiting free gifts, the most important thing should be that the day is spent with the people you care the most about in the world.
This is truly the season to be jolly and there is no other pair that does it better than these two: a goofy mentor turned father and an impulsive god-son turned student then son.
Appreciating those you love and that also love you too, although some of them may never admit it...that, is the true spirit of Christmas.
