The two strongest captains in Bleach, best friends but more like brothers, both shrouded in mystery.
On the left is Jūshirō Ukitake, easily one of the coolest people in Sereitei, so calm and simple that I instantly felt a connection. He is well respected and is very honorable, having pure white long hair which for someone as young as he is, is a cool fearure and signifies strength.
"Waves, Become my Shield, Lightning, Become my Blade"
These are Ukitake's words, the incantation for the release of his Shikai, the first level of his sword's transformation. He has the ability to absorb an enemy's attack with one of his twin blades and shoot the same, several times amplified, back to where it came or anywhere else, out the other.
Kyoraku Shunsui on the right, on the other hand, is quite the laid-back peacock, his bright pink kimono testifies to this. As lazy as a slot and drunk as a fish, his passtimes are alcohol and, I believe, chasing women. Kyoraku, nevertheless, is a powerhouse of strength, will and kindness. This slightly eccentric, hair-pin wearing captain rarely loses his cool.
"I am very much like Kyoraku, but I wish I could be so cool. If you are like us, and you are alone on Valentine's day, just find your best friend, a bottle of sake/ plamwine/ vodka/ ogogoro etc and live it up."
