The thing is, so much is actually going on in this scene but you would have to read between the lines or better yet, dive deep into the page to know it (you can read Fairy Tail Chapter 416 instead). Erza, also revered as Titania because of her Knight-ish appearances, has just been tortured beyond human imagination and now, in the aftermath, sits still on a bridge over a river with so much on her mind.
I cannot truly presume to know what she is thinking but knowing Erza it must have something to do with her battle against Kagura, the demon who had the power to manipulate body sensitivity to light, sound, touch, any and everything. In other words, Kagura had the ability to turn the touch of a gentle breeze to pains on the level of skin being bathed with acid.
On this day Erza sits and thinks as her guild is disbanded. Her old friend (and also her 'boyfriend') Jellal walks by to give her comfort and encourage her on the new path she is about to take. For so long Erza's friends, and fellow Fairy Tail guild members, have been her source of motivation. Every time she is pushed to her limits like with Kagura she prevails because of thoughts of them but now, the guild has been disbanded, how will she fill that space?
This chapter and this page in particular got me thinking a lot about the spaces in our hearts. We meet new people, we get to know them, we bond but then we can't keep or own them. In the time that they are with us they dig holes in our hearts in the shape of themselves and when they are gone (because yes everyone leaves) we have a bitter sweet reminder that they were once here, with us, meaning so much.
Titania, the Legend, the red-haired Scarlet is facing a new path and holes in her heart. Jellal asks her to sustain her light and make it burn even brighter.
